Tokyo International Airport, or Haneda Airport as it is commonly known, is one of the two primary airports that serve the Greater Tokyo area. It is the primary base of Japan’s two major domestic airlines and in 2010, a dedicated international terminal was opened in conjunction with the completion of a fourth runway, allowing long-haul flights during the night time. In 2014, a daytime long-haul service was opened to include carriers offering nonstop service to 25 cities in 17 countries.
Haneda Aiport is the third busiest airport in Asia and the fifth busiest in the world. It sees upwards of 90 million passengers per year, following its large expansion in 2010.
Narita International Airport is another international airport option which can link delegates into Yokohama by way of the Narita Express Train (approximately 90 minutes).
